Redyoos Rebrand by Badberries Featured on Roastbrief

This week our mission was spotlighted on Roastbrief as they featured the new Redyoos identity created by Badberries, a rebrand that captures both the emotional weight of jewelry and the optimism of circularity.

Badberries, the design and branding studio behind work for Apple, Slack, Pepsi, and Visa, partnered with Redyoos to build a branding brief that treats us not as a typical jewelry company, but as a platform for turning personal objects into collective progress. Their solution centered on a simple idea: jewelry without jewelry. The phantom-silhouette system makes the absence of the physical piece visible, highlighting the possibility of its next life. It mirrors the Redyoos mission to make letting go feel meaningful instead of wasteful.

The brand colors bridge human memory and green technology. The rounded typography softens the experience of recycling and lowers the emotional barrier to taking action. Every design choice mirrors the core Redyoos positioning: a clear, human invitation to give jewelry a new purpose.

The Emotional Shift Redyoos Exists to Create

Jewelry is personal. It holds stories, grief, celebration, identity. Redyoos was built on the belief that recycling should honor that truth rather than erase it.

The rebrand reinforces this shift:
From holding on out of guilt or confusion
To letting go with clarity and confidence

By showing jewelry as an outline rather than an object, the identity communicates possibility. It makes room for what comes next. It reminds people that their small decision is part of a larger movement toward accessible circularity.

A Design System That Feels Like Redyoos

The new Redyoos visual world reflects the brand at its core: simple, personal, transparent, and hopeful.

You’ll notice:

  • photography centered on real people and real lives
  • silhouettes that acknowledge emotional attachment without heaviness
  • motion that feels light and circular
  • typography that embodies ease over complication

It is design that explains the brand without needing explanation.

Why This Matters for Jewelry Recycling

Recycling jewelry requires trust. People aren’t just sending metal; they are sending memories. A brand that feels cold or transactional could never facilitate that exchange.

This rebrand strengthens Redyoos’ role as the most trusted consumer jewelry recycle service in the United States. It removes friction. It removes uncertainty. It makes the process feel modern, human, and worthwhile.

Every envelope diverted from a drawer reduces the need for new mining. Every recycled gram fuels a more sustainable future.

Ready to Recycle?

A free Redyoos mail in kit lets anyone in the U.S. recycle jewelry from home. No storefronts. No pressure. Just a simple step toward clearing space and creating impact.
